Cross Timbers Basketball Classic
The Cross Timbers Classic is a high school basketball tournament for both boys and girls held each year on the second weekend of December. It is the primary fundraiser for the Stephenville Lions Club. This year the Lions Club will be hosting our 26th Annual Cross Timbers Classic and the tournament dates are December 6th, 7th, & 8th. We have teams entered from across the state of Texas as well as Oklahoma and Missouri committed to play in this year's Classic. Our goal is to recruit the best teams possible to create a competitive environment for the coaches, kids, and the fans. We have two divisions for both boys and girls representing schools from all classifications.
This year the games will begin at 4:00PM on Thursday and Friday and at 9:00AM on Saturday. We will use four gyms in this year's Classic including two gyms in the SISD and two gyms at Tarleton State University.
The entry fee is $100.00 per team. For those teams traveling more than 75 miles, we offer assistance with the hotel and meal expenses.
