Chicken Express Playoff Preview
The Playoff Preview Day is sponsored by Chicken Express of Stephenville and hosted by the Stephenville Lions Club. This fun-filled day of high school basketball represents some of the best girls and boys team in this area as each team invited to play in this event has qualified for the playoffs. These games are considered to be "warm-up" games by the coaches, but very important to keep their kids sharp and "game ready" for the beginning of playoffs the following week.
These games are played at Wisdom Gymnasium on the campus of Tarleton State University and take place in mid-February, depending on the completion of district play. This past year the Lions Club hosted five games with 10 of the area"s best teams participating.
